Dalmatian Villa with the Adriatic views

I will be returning to Villa Barbara this year as our last vacation there was amazing. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and the apartment was gorgeous and stocked with everything you need. The shared outdoor space at the house has a heated pool which was great for my daughter. There is also an outdoor stove and sitting area that we were able to enjoy. The location is excellent. There are grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants all in walking distance. Not to mention the beach is just a few minutes away walking distance. While I have been to other beaches in the area, this one is well maintained, has a cafe on the beach, a great view, and is not too crowded. We rented a car and there was free parking on site. The airport is only about 10 minutes from the house which was convenient after a long flight. It was a short drive to Split and Trogir which were both great to see. The hosts even recommended some ruins nearby at a place called Salona which was a great experience.

My wife and I stayed here in June of 2023 for the month. The location was great. Ended up renting a car from the airport to travel to Venice and Pula midway through our stay. What was ideal was having the bus stop near the accommodations as well. We jumped on the bus a few times to head to Split and tour the old city. Accommodations were wonderful. Great outdoor space for having a BBQ and a few cold pivo at night. Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating for any of our needs.(thanks again) We spent the majority of the time hitting the local beach that is about a 10min walk from the Villa where we could relax and enjoy the Adriatic sea. Upon having been on the beach for the day coming back to the Villa to enjoy the pool was refreshing and relaxing. As mentioned before restaurants and the local shops are within walking distance. Again it was wonderful and relaxing. Looking forward to returning in the future

We stayed at the Villa Barbara Sept 1 - 7 2024 and it was simply amazing. It's conveniently located - close to the airport, Split and Trogir, however there's so much to do in Kastel. The host was very welcoming and recommended some things to do in the area. They recommend the pekara which is in walking distance. This pekara, was the best in the country - we tried many. The apartment is spacious, modern, clean, beautiful and felt like home. It has everything you'll need, including a coffeemaker 😊. The bed is comfortable and the ceiling fan over the bed was an added bonus. The balcony over looks the beautiful and refreshing heated pool, along with views of the sea and marina. I wish we could have stayed forever. We'll be re-booking on our next trip to this amazing country. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

5 out of 5 accommodation. Very clean and well appointed with all that you could need. Beautiful outdoor space with private pool. Close to amenities. Short walk to scenic beach with loads of space and a beach bar. Great location with so much to see and superb restaurants all around.
